Daddy's old hat

JB's Mom sent us, many moons ago, a hat JB wore as a child. I attempted, in vain as you will see from the photos, to get the boys to wear it.

Is there a trick I am not aware of for getting your children to wear hats. I know I can demand it, but I really don't want to fight a battle that only needs to be won a few days a year. I have gotten them to wear the hoodies on their jackets but hats. No way.

Take a look for yourself.

Seriously Wendi, I wouldn't wear that hat either!!! (I do hate hats of any kind. Seems like in FL the hoodies should be enuf!

Maybe offer them a piece of candy in exchange for wearing the hat.

They may change their tune. Erik sure did. He loves wearing hats now at age 3, but wouldn't wear them last year. Andrew won't hear of it.

But I don't think you should have to wear hats in Florida!!

OH MY! Too funny and super cute! :)
That hat is so cute.

No trick. Our girlie has ALWAYS loved her hats. Still does after 9 years. Our boy somewhat but NOTHING like his sis! I am with you...not worth the battle.
