Beach Day

Yesterday we stopped by the beach for a short time to celebrate our friend Zachariah's birthday.
And thanks to Joia, who I use ceaselessly for her photos, I was able to secure some photos of my boys at the beach.

Do you even have to guess which of my boys could be found in the water dodging the waves with Daddy and which could be found playing with a truck, peacefully on the shore? Isaac loved to be left alone on the shore. Elijah wanted the water. When Elijah came up into the sand he just tried to eat it. When Isaac went into the water, he would just say "No thank you!" anytime a wave hit him!

The Destin area is obviously very concerned about the oil that has already been spotted in Pensacola, just one hour from here. This area prides itself on having the "whitest beaches in the world" and they call it the "Emerald Coast" because of the amazing blue tint of the water. The oil could devastate this area which lives on mostly tourism. Please keep our town in your prayers.
