Tribe Life Tuesdays

I am GIDDY excited. Like, honestly just THRILLED to have a new inclusion to my blog. The Lord is really leading me to make some Blog changes, and one of those includes some weekly bloggers. Not only do I have Angelica (The Interiorista) every Thursday, but now the amazing Joe & Carrie are going to be with us every Tuesday for Tribe Life Tuesdays.

They have an awesome ministry idea. And I'm not going to spoil any of it. Instead, I will let them share it with you, at their own pace. So ... without further ado .... here ... we ... go ....

Welcome to TribeLife Tuesdays

I’m Carrie and I am married to Joe. (For more about us check out the video above). When Wendi approached me about being a contributor on her blog I was thrilled. I thought OMG this is going to be so fun. So I immediately whipped out my handy iPhone and started to type all the things I wanted to share with the world and of course my assumption is that everyone will want to hear it! I was blissfully unaware of all the hard work and emotional investment it would take. Here I am on post #1 fired up and realizing ... whoa ... this isn’t easy. It’s a bit like self-scrutiny….. but more on that later.

Let’s stick to the basics:

What is TribeLife? In its simplest form it is this notion that living in community is far more rewarding than living independently of it.

Why TribeLife? Because it’s easier to live selfishly then it is to live selflessly. It takes courage and bravery to live in community, but there I go again getting ahead of myself, there will definitely be more on that later.
