We promised Abigail that if she could stop biting her nails, she could go to Build-a-Bear. We'd never been before, but we'd heard all kinds of other families talking about it. What a fun (and expensive!) treat. She had a great time and was super proud of her bear. Now the other three kiddos want to come up with something they can work toward too.

We spent the Thanksgiving holiday with our great friends Shane and Linda in Charleston, South Carolina. On Friday, Linda suggested we visit: Magnolia Plantation & Gardens. Oh wow! Did we love this place. I strongly suggest anyone visiting the area visit this beautiful location. It was a great homeschool day, and even better was that our little Sidge had his dream come true: he saw a bald eagle in the wild. It was a juvenile, but still! Too exciting. Linda is a photographer, and she took some amazing pictures. I'm posting most of them because I just can't choose my favorites!
The photographer, Linda.
The moment we've all dreamed about: Sidge sees a bald eagle for the first time!
