When I lived in Minnesota, I became friends with a fellow teacher. She and I were traveling through infertility together, and she had two beautiful Rhodesian Ridgebacks that were the light of her life.
We haven't stayed in great touch, but when Scrubs passed away, she sent me this book in the mail, well aware of the grief I was dealing with after having lost one of her Ridgebacks a few years prior.
Whether Scrubs is in heaven or not, this book provided such a beautifully comforting thought about the beauty of dogs. If you have someone in your life who loses a pet, I strongly suggest this book as a gift. I plan to get copies for people in the future!
