Taking turns

We've been practicing taking turns in our house. Someone gets to push a toy around for a few minutes and then it's the next person's turn.

Isaac took that to the extreme tonight. I put Elijah in time-out for standing up on the couch. He doesn't really "get" time-out, but I've been working on it nonetheless. While trying to get him to stay seated in time-out, Isaac waddled up, sat down next to him and said, "My turn."

Not sure what it means if they want a turn in time-out?
