Some money fun!


I found a great link online for activities corresponding to money. Specifically, I enjoyed using the following links listed below. The picture above was from the "Coin Toss Mats". The boys had a great time perusing our money drawer in the house and finding the correct coins for the correct mat. It was a great way for them to begin learning the different coins.

COIN TOSS MATS: Money Mats for a Coin Toss Game for Preschool and Kindergarten

One funny thing. Our money drawer included American money and Portuguese money (the Euro). The boys kept saying: "Is this Portuguese or English money?" I kept reminding them that those are the words we use for languages but not for money.

We also found some Turkish money sneaking in here and there (the Lira and Kurush). Miss spending that money since it went so far for us!
