This is happening every 30 seconds in our car .... these videos are on repeat right now — especially here on Galveston Island where shore birds are abounding.
In the middle of this Isaac will pipe in about a Hot Wheels car he found today at Target.
By the way ....
We figured out a way to interest Isaac.
If he finds a bird no one has seen, he gets a new hot wheels car. This has increased his interest in birds.
Hannah is just all over the place with her interests ....
In the middle of the other kids seeing a new bird Hannah shouts: “Oh, a Jack in the Box restaurant! That’s on my check off sheet.” (I made them all fun worksheets with things to find when driving.) Hannah doesn’t care what she sees ....
If you google “Free printable travel sheets for kids” you can find tons of fun things to print out for kiddos. I’m offering one “ticket” they can spend for any completed sheet ....
