Say it ain't so ...

I have something to admit. It's horrible. Tiffany helped do my dishes on Friday night. I have a rule at my house that no one helps do my dishes. But Tiffany would NOT take no for an answer! She was more stubborn than Tara and Lesley combined!!!!

I told Tif this would not make my previous "no you cannot do my dishes" recipients very happy.

Former recipients ... how do you feel about this?

Um... hello! Is this just because she's from Texas?? I can push my way around too, if that's what it'll take - you're on tonight!!

You have got to be kidding me. I have all but wrestled you to get you to let me help you with the dishes! You move to Florida and everything changes?!?!?!?! I agree with Tara....THAT IS SO WRONG!!!!!!

Well, when Hans and I come to stay, you know we're going to do lots of dishes! Then it will be 2 against 1...you'll have no chance! :-)

That is not fair!

I love the moral outcry against the breaking of the "no help with the dishes" rule. :)

I don't know Rachel ... I played a lot of zone. I also avoided double teams quite a bit as well. :)

I knew this would get people riled up. Don't worry -- I plan to be tougher on Tiffany next time. I can take her! I can take her! I can take her!

Joia came over tonight and LOST! by the way.

Wendi, I used to not let anyone help but now I relish any help I can get and it doesn't matter how they do it or where they end up putting things:) You know the old saying, "many hands make light work". Plus, some of the best memory making times are in the kitchen.

Remember when your mom and I were there and we had some discussion about this-though not particularly doing dishes-just helping in general. Most of time,it makes people feel included; part of the family and not just a guest. And it meant something special to be able to feel that I was helping you and John-even if you re-arranged after:)
PS, I'm in on helping cook (or prep) whatever- next time I'm there!

Okay. I don't think everyone understands just how stubborn I am. And no Wendi you can't take me. You know you are scared of me.
