This article discusses why East TN is in such a bad spot, and why my husband, director of a rural ER and the only ER in our county, has been in such a battle. If you look at this picture above you notice that Greeneville, TN is number 3 in the nation! In addition, Johnson City and Knoxville which are very close by are on there as well.
