Morning in the mountains
Question: do my boys look like they are the same age in the picture above? That's the new question I am getting from everyone. "Are they twins?" In my honest opinion I don't think they look the same age but maybe I am just seeing things differently because I am their mom? Either way, we are thoroughly enjoying the cool mornings, rain storms in the evenings, and mild afternoons. It's absolutely gorgeous here!

At first glance they do a little bit, but you can definately tell that Elijah is younger.
I think they look alot alike, but not the same age. I have irish twins also, and now that they are 20 and 10 months we get that question everywhere we go. And they when we tell them their ages they say, "Well, they're almost twins!"
makes the 'twins' comments interesting!
I think they look a lot alike but can tell Elijah is definitely younger.
My nephews are 13 months aparty and I used to get that with them whenever I took them out. The oldest one has always been smaller for his age and the younger one has always been bigger, so I could definitely understand when people would think that at first glance.
NOT the SAME age!
I think they will when Elijah is older! I was asked today is E and B are twins. I told Ryan at supper that I may just answer YES next time to see what people say. Will the person tell me how cool that is...like I would have anything to do with them being twins? Will the person think that is horrible? Will they ask if they do "twin things"? (they Do btw!) I simply reply, "Almost, 11 months apart" or Irish Twins, 11 months apart." I don't mind being asked just curious as to why it really matters! :)
Love ya Wendi!
My mother use to get this all the time when my brother and I were growing up. He was 2 YEARS younger than me but quite the tank of a little guy which made him actually dwarf me in size even smaller than I was already. I was so tiny when I went off to school that the bus driver had to get out of his seat to go down to pick me up since my little legs couldn't make it up to the first step. He lifted me up and plunked me in a seat behind him to keep an eye on me so I wouldn't be overrun by the bigger kids.
Strange what people will come right out and ask isn't it?
