We were so blessed to receive a call yesterday from our friend Scott R. Scott is Ronnie's cousin. He and his wife Kelly were great friends of ours when we lived in Kentucky. They have six beautiful children. Bethany is now 19 and just got married. Amy is a senior in high school. The four youngest: Elijah, Ellie, Anna, and Benjamin, came with Scott to vacation for the weekend in Destin. He looked us up while we were here, and we were able to spend the afternoon catching up over a BBQ at our house.
It's hard to believe it has now been five years since we went to church with Scott, Kelly, and their family in Kentucky. Even harder to believe that it has been four years since Kelly passed away. Scott and the kids are doing great! He's a wonderful Dad, and his kids are beautiful and full of life. Kelly would be so proud of the wonderful people they are becoming.

Aren't the kids doing wonderful. Scott too! I had such a great time with them over Christmas when they came to the beach. Little Anna cracks me up.

Thanks for the great visit, food, and time at the bay. Again, congrats on the addition to your growing family. The kids and I had a great time, and will visit again next year. Would be better if you still lived in the frozen tundra, but Fl. and the crystal clear water of Destin will do. Smack Scrubs in the head for us!
