So Blogger decided to up and improve their site. They picked some random people to upgrade to Blogger Beta, and I was one of them. I post-poned it, but they said they would soon make me change. I then, decided, to change now, when I wanted to, instead of when someone makes me change later.
You will notice some differences to the Polar North page, and I welcome your feedback. One of the biggest changes (aside from the color shift) is that there is now a "labels" feature at the end of each post. I have the option to label my post with a word or words of choice. If you click on those words, you will then get all posts about that particular topic.
Also, make sure you scroll all the way down the right side of the blog. Lots of fun improvements there!
So some questions:
1. Do you like my new color scheme? Any suggestions?
2. What do you think of the "labels" feature? Do you think you would use this or is it a waste of my time?
3. If I was going to use the "labels" feature, what categories would be good to use?
I'm open for any suggestions as I am just starting to use this Beta version and am a little lost! :)

I can't believe I'm the first to post! Where is Tara? :) I think the feature I like best about this new Beta version is the side pictures. The labels idea is pretty cool - other ideas I thought of were...Food? :) Any post with JB's cooking would go there. :) Dining out? You guys visit some neat places. Travel? Residency? Family? In terms of the color scheme, I think I actually miss your black background. But blue is growing on me. :)
Oh, Les. I'm here, just a bit slow today:) I like the pics on the side too! And the labels as well. I'm also a fan of the blue-- looks very hip.

I like this new layout. I like the pictures on the side, just like everyone else. I also like that the archives are set up so that you can see the individual blog titles, instead of having to click on the month and having to scroll through the entire blog to find a post.
So, yay Beta version.
