Review & Giveaway! This is one you WANT to read!!!

***Update*** We have a winner! Check the comments!

My Name is Mahtob was AWESOME! In short, I devoured it in just two days.

For those of you have seen or read the book: Not Without my Daughter you will remember the little girl in the spotlight of an international tug-of-war. The movie, which starred Sally Field, depicted the story of an American woman married to an Iranian man. They lived in the USA but on a vacation to see his family in Iran, he held them prisoner and refused to let Field leave the country with their daughter.

This book is written by the now grown daughter in that incredible story: Mahtob Mahmoody. You don't need to have read the first book or even seen the movie. Mahmoody spends the first third of the book recounting the events in her own words. What follows is the months and years after their return to America and the fear she was forced to live in the middle of.

Mahmoody is actually a Christian now -- and this book shares deeply of her faith in Jesus Christ as she fought against her tyrannical father.

The story tells of one woman's triumph over life-crushing trauma as she worked to build a life of peace and forgiveness. Readers will visit Michigan, Iran, Paris and Turkey within its pages.

This was SO good and I just have to do a giveaway! Please leave your name and email address in a comment. I will pick a winner in one week to receive my copy of this incredible book! Oh and my copy is a hardback book!
