We are out of town but that doesn't mean I don't want to know what is going on around the farm> Despite sub-freezing temps, are egg production is well underway. This was what JB collected in two days despite how cold it was! Our family of 8 (which includes the grandparents) goes through close to a dozen eggs everyday. It is our initial hope that we will be getting about 12 dozens eggs a week when maximum production is reached. We hope that we will be able to sell half of these and keep the rest which will come close to letting us eat our eggs for free!
As far as the weather is concerned, the snow has finally come to a halt. Apparently Dad, JB, and Scrubs survived the week as you can see from the picture below. This is Scrubs first time really experiencing snow. (We had a little bit last year in Spring Hill but otherwise, he's never been in it.) JB said he absolutely loved it and was prancing all over the place.
