We have officially crossed every single itsy, bitsy item off of our humongous list of things we had to do. We will be leaving for South Florida in the very near future. We even had the chance to gout to dinner just the two of us last night while Mary and Casey watched the boys for the last time.
(For the benefit of you locals, we went to Compass Rose). It was delicious. A bit pricey and therefore definitely not somewhere to frequent regularly but a great date-night where you can get awesome seafood without having to go all the way in to Destin.
God has continued to be ever-faithful in the little things throughout this journey. Despite the fact that I am battling some sort of head cold, everything has come together beautifully.
At the top of our list is the fact that JB secured an appointment for our Scrubby at a Vet about 3 hours from our family in South Florida. It will require a day's trek but the tech seemed to really know what she was talking about. I'm sure it didn't hurt when JB was able to say: "Hi, this is Capt. Dr. John ___." Somehow it doesn't have the same ring as "Hi, this is Wendi."

Thanks be to our God! So happy you got it all worked out.
The bird is a beauty! We have woodpeckers that try and peck the side of our house. The sound is quite amusing when we are inside.
