Isaac-isms

Eleven hours yesterday. Plenty of time for a two-year-old to entertain his parents on the drive. The following are some Isaac-isms from our trip:
  • When Elijah started crying too loud: "Elijah, don't cry like that."
  • When going through a McDonalds' drive-thru: "Want apple juice. Want fries."
  • When Scrubs got in front of the movie player, again and again: "Move Bubby."
  • When he dropped his Lightning McQueen on the floor: "Uh oh 'sgettio."
  • When Mommy was climbing over the seats to retrieve a bottle of water: "Mommy sit in the back seat."
  • Whenever he got tired of being in his seat: "Wanna sit in Mommy's lap." Or "Mommy, I hold you."
  • When I tried to clean off his dirty feet with a wipe in the van: "Don't clean the toes."
  • When Daddy pulled over at a gas station: "Daddy get some gas in the van."
  • When we would get back on the road again after a break: "Let's go this way."
  • When a movie would conclude: "George is all done. How 'bout Cars?"
  • When I offered him food that he didn't want: "I just wanna snack."
