For all of you locals who read my blog, the new Indian restaurant in Fort Walton is AMAZING! We went last night for dinner. The food is very traditional which means a little spicier than the "Americanized" Indian food we often eat, but it is great. (Too spicy, unless we find a spiceless dish, to take anyone on JB's side of the family when they visit.)
We spent a lot of time talking to the co-owners. I can't remember the guy's name, but he is actually a doctor at the hospital and actually, the doctor JB will be working with on internal medicine during the next two weeks. Yes, JB starts a new rotation today, and a much busier one. It is 5:45am right now, and he is getting ready to walk out the door and promises not to be back before 6pm. Anyways, this doctor was upset there wasn't an Indian restaurant in the entire county so he started one himself. He co-owns with an Indian couple. The prices are great and the food is fantastic.
