HAPPY BIRTHDAY TARA!

Here's to my great friend Tara -- now a big-time doctor in California. She put up with me for six whole weeks across all of Africa so I think she deserves a shout out. Tara is a fantastic person and a wonderful and devoted friend! I'm blessed to have her in my life. Happy birthday Tara. At least you aren't 30 (like me!)

Just for Tara, maybe I'll email her the sex of the baby today -- a sort of birthday present? How's that for unfair?

Hey my birthday is Saturday and my name is ALSO Tara. Do I get to know, too?

Ha, that's funny. Okay, question. Plan B Tara. Is your name pronounced Tar-uh or Tear-a. Bananna Tara is Tar-uh.

Okay, this is getting confusing but yes, I would think a birthday on Saturday and a name spelled (if not pronounced) the same way, qualifies you.

There are so many of us, maybe you should just post it!

I'm either Tear-a or Tah-ra (with the a like in cat). Occasionally I get Tar-a--depends on the area of the country.
Yay! Can't wait to hear.

As much as we readers out here in "Blogland" want to find out the joyous news, I really think you should wait until your family arrives and share it with them first. Oh, I could just slap my wrist for what I just typed, but your Mom and Dad have gone through this agonizing adventure with you...I know their hearts broke for you every time you got a negative test...so I think you should think of a fun way to honor them all(JB's parents and your parents)by announcing the exciting news to them first. Maybe you could have his parents on speaker phone when you make the announcement. Maybe you could capture it all on video and share it with us (and it would be a great keepsake for the baby, too.
He/she could look at it and see how much they were loved even before they were born!). You do all things with such style, so I know however you decide to share the news, it will be great. Oh! I can't wait and I don't even know you! AnneMarie
