This Bible used the ICB version (the first Bible translation created specifically for children). The reading level is set at third grade -- perfect for my little Abigail who is just starting to be able to read "real" books. The type is 10-point which is much easier for a young child to follow. There are also bold-faced words that provide defined words. Other features include:
- A Bible timeline
- A Presentation page
- A place to keep favorite Bible verses
- Bible maps
- Articles on important topics (like how to pray)
- 300 key highlighted verses
I think this would make a great Valentines or Easter present for the special little girl in your life. Check it out here.
P.S. I received a free copy of this book from the Book Look Bloggers in exchange for my free review.
