We Bought a Farm: So Long Dan!

We are a little sad today. Our friend and Intern, Dan, said good bye to our family and our farm today. He was here for three months and really became another member of our family. (Hannah had a MAJOR crush on him!) We never set a time for how long Dan would stay. It was always up to him and us to decide when he was ready to try something else. He was simply here to try out farm-life for a bit, and he decided it was time to go try some other things. We really enjoyed having him here and will miss him a lot! He and I had a lot of good laughs moving chickens in the rain, and I'll never forget the day we did it while he recited past episodes of SpongeBob to me knowing full well I not a SpongeBob fan. Dan also amazed us, regularly, with his ability to eat more food than we thought was humanly possible. He was easy-going, polite, dependable, and incredibly trust-worthy around our farm and around our most important asset -- our children. We really hope our paths will cross again in the future! So long Dan. You have a great future ahead of you, and we hope that maybe it will include Bauernhof Kitsteiner.
