Minnesota or Florida?

The blanket of white hovering 'ore where we lived
is proof that we made the right decision
When people said Florida was warmer than Minnesota
By golly folks they wasn't kiddin'!

You did make a good decision! Up at school we probably have over a foot of snow, which is amazing until it gets into your shoes. After I got back to my room from class today I had to soak my feet in the bathroom sink to regain feeling in them. I hope you're enjoying the sun :)

Native Minne-snow-tan here and I'm lovin' it. Although I don't have to go out in it tonight nor do I have to shovel any of it.

Oh my gosh -it is so beautiful out --we could hardly go to bed because our live Christmas tree with colored lights looked so pretty by large picture window looking on to the white blanket of snow....it would be an awesome Christmas card --and we're all bundled under quilts -want some hot cocoa and marshmellows? Alyssa, I have put my feet in hot water one too many times.

But okay, okay, the blanket of white sounds -- nice.

Is that Alyssa as in the dear friend of my daughter, English?

We are currently enjoying a leisurely morning, after the school announced a 2 hour delay due to snow. Not to mention the beautiful view from our patio of the snow resting across the fields. I'll bet the kids in Florida don't get that!

Nothing beats the snow covered trees glistening in the sun. Snowboarding, snowmobiling, hot chocolate, snow angels/snowmen, sledding. Wouldn't trade it for anything!!
