I was trying to explain to Sidge that sometimes you can still be good at something and not the best. Isaac is better at piano right now but Sidge is still doing good. So I said, "When I was younger, I played basketball. And I was pretty good. But do you think I was always the best?"
Sidge: "Not even close."
Me: "Thanks Sidge. Appreciate that."

Grampa: "Just so you know Isaac, when you least expect it, I'm going to get you back for spraying me with that water. I'm going to soak you."
Isaac: "Okay. But Grampa, you forget things a lot."

I told Hannah she had to pick up a toy she had spilled. She started crying and lamenting and I told her, "You can do it. You are a big girl."

Hannah responded by whaling, "I don't want to be a big girl!"

Hannah: "Mommy, if you have a problem, I will take care of the problem you have. So you tell me when you have a problem .... do you have a problem?"
