So where are we today?
Today, six years later, we have doubled our brood size. And now that our stuff has arrived, we had the ability to make our own water park in the backyard. Oh what fun this was!
Check out Isaac doing a double-do on the bucket throwing.
Abigail just wiped out as you see in the background.
Another very exciting part of our life is that finally, after four long months, we were able to really, truly sit down at our table and have a family dinner together. This felt so wonderful! You really don't realize what a table and a meal together does until you are sitting at counters and desks all over the kitchen. So happy to have our good ol' table up and at 'em!
We've also been busy homeschooling the two oldest boys in the family. One of the best parts of homeschooling?! Field trips! And field trips at not-crowded-places-because-other-kids-are-in-school field trips to boot! We have a yearly membership to the local Science Center and we returned for our second visit. There's a great bee exhibit inside and the kids prepped to see the hive by taking their pictures in these bee faces outside. (We also learned that there are three types of bees: the queen, drones, and worker bees.)
