Indian!

Is it bad that you and your husband both forget it is your anniversary until you see it pop up on your Facebook notices? Guess that means we have a lot going on?

Oh well. We actually didn't completely forget as the real anniversary isn't until the 20th. But neither of us had it on our radar at all. And since we won't be together on the 20th and we had a free evening last night, we put the boys to bed, left Veronica in charge, and headed out on the town.

We found a delightful and delicious Indian restaurant! Ohhhh heavenly! It is the first time I have eaten Indian food (other than the kind JB cooks) since we left for Turkey nearly one year ago. Yumm! So great.

It was also great to spend the evening with my husband even though I was plagued by some mild contractions.

I'll wait to post a "Happy Anniversary" notice until the actual date of our 13th anniversary: the 20th of June! Thirteen years of marriage -- pretty cool to be married to your best friend for that long. Lotsa good memories I'll work on sharing in a few days.
