- We are going to get to go on "vacation" for the first time since moving to Eglin.
- We are going to get to see our families in Fort Lauderdale.
- We are going to get to come home on Christmas Day and actually spend Christmas in our own home. This is the first time we have EVER been in our own home on Christmas Day! We plan to return to Eglin on Christmas day after opening presents with JB's family as he has to be back at work on the 26th.
- We are going to get to see Bri! This will be the first time I have seen her since we agreed to the adoption and since she was here visiting earlier this summer.
- Our Christmas cards came in this week! I really like them. If you think you may not be on my "list" to send you a card, please leave a comment with your email address. I'll be happy to include you!
- Holiday parties! Saturday we are going over to Phil and Joia's on Saturday. Next Wednesday is the Christmas Exchange at Tiffany's during the day and our Bible Study's party that evening.
- Cool weather! Unlike Minnesota which froze your bones, the weather here is crisp and cool. This is so much better than the warm temperatures you often get in Fort Lauderdale. I've realized that while we are in Florida, the weather here is completely different than south Florida. There are even some trees with leaves that have changed.
Okay, that's all the thanks I can currently muster. If you think of it, please say an extra prayer (or two) for Bri and our little son this week. She is getting some blood work back either tomorrow or Monday that we are anxious to hear a good report on. Also, Bri is now nearing halfway and feeling much more pregnant. Pray that she feels good and gets a second wind for the second half of this adventure!
