I am infamous for letting water boil over. Mainly because, well, I am a terrible multi-tasker. It makes me cranky and I am just plain bad at it. So when I heard you could put a wooden spoon on top of a boiling pan and your water wouldn't boil over, I decided to try it. It works! This is our gas oven on full blast with no boil over. Hurrah!
