Grampa & the Garage

The flight line on the Base has hundreds upon thousands of pounds of crates that come into their possession each week. These are usually stacked up against a wall and eventually, if not utilized, burned. So, if you want free wood, you can have it anytime you want it. You just have to pick it up and then de-nail it all.

Last time Grampa came for a visit, he built the boys a pirate clubhouse. Grampa is a master carpenter so we are excited to see exactly what this wood will be used for! (We think Grama has signed him on to some sort of crafty project!)

I cannot tell you how blessed I feel that the boys are getting to do these things with their Grampa. Isaac isn't easily impressed. You have to really find a niche to reel him in. Grampa managed to do it with the hammer and nails.

I feel like Scrubs is saying, "I know little princess. I've had a hard day too."

Check out Abigail covering her ears while Dad is nailing. She's been very into saying "LOUD!" and covering her ears whenever something is even a tad loud.
