During the summer of 2001, JB and I took a driving trip along the East coast of the USA. On July 1st, 2011, JB took this picture (above) of me in front of the World Trade Center buildings when our trip took us through New York City.
It would, of course, be just a little over two months later that the entire world would watch everything change. I was a school teacher in 2001, and in 2006, five years later, I wrote about what I was doing on September 11, 2001. I posted about this here: September 11, 2006 Reflections.
Those of us old enough to remember will never forget where we were that day.
