Eight months old

I'm a day late on this one! Just a lot going on getting ready for our trip. I completely forgot. Sorry Elijah. Our little man is eight months old. Woah. I won't comment about this seeming impossible or having gone so fast because I think that is a given. What I will do is list a few facts of Elijah's life as we currently know it:
  • Still only two teeth.
  • Pulling up regularly.
  • Starting to take one step while standing up and holding onto something.
  • Now putting puffs in his mouth (perfecting the "pincher" method.)
  • Will eat any soft food you give him. He especially likes bananas. Likes most any flavor of baby food. Can handle all textures.
  • Sits up in bathtub by himself but will often dive for something so you have to stay close.
  • Takes approximately three naps a day of varying lengths.
  • Nearly impossible to change since he wants to rollover constantly. He is often successful.
  • Sleeps from about 7:30pm until 6:00am but often starts talking as early as 4:30am.
  • Loves to stand up, hold onto your hands, and bounce up and down.
  • Very passionate. Cries very hard but for just a very short period.
  • Laughs with a deep chuckle.
  • Loves Isaac; is becoming more interested in Scrubs.
  • Very distracted when he drinks from his bottle.
  • Puts everything in his mouth.
  • Much more interested in household "no-no's" than Isaac ever was. Has found cords (like the one behind the refrigerator) that we never thought were a childproof concern. Loves to pull on the vertical blinds and shades.
  • Has securely wedged himself into our hearts with his squinty eyed smile, hearty chuckle, and great snuggles.
