Double date

Here are pictures from our Friday night "double date" with Hans and Rachel (courtesy of Rachel). This was Rachel's idea, and it was a GREAT time. In order to get tickets, we had to book them like three months ago, and apparently, every single performance has been sold out.

We went to Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. You get there about 6:00 or 6:15 and order your dinner. Then you eat, the play starts around 8:00, and during intermission you are served dessert. Rachel warned us to order dessert. She said previously they attended and didn't order dessert and were then forced to watch as other people ate away! So, just to please Rachel, we ordered dessert!

We saw the play Grease, and it was really good! Hans and Rachel have gone before and saw Annie and The Sound of Music. What a fun night. Apparently this place is fairly legendary around the area -- employing the most actors in the midwest. I would definitely go back, and if you live in the area and haven't gone, you definitely need to splurge. It was very fun!

We have really been blessed getting to know Hans and Rachel and definitely have to make plans to return the Rochester around June 14th 2008 for their wedding!
