On our way to Saguaro National Park

Last night we stopped at a KOA campground in Las Cruces, New Mexico. We ate some seasoned pork from Costco on the grill, s’mores, broccoli I made very easily in a pan with some oil, and some leftovers. John had spent a tad more on this campsite to get us one with a little covered outcropping and grill overlooking the city.

We slept in just a tad (like 7:30am — which is 9:30 our time back home.) There was a playground right across from our campsite and the kids loved that. Abigail has enjoyed playing teacher all at the last two campgrounds.

It’s now 10:30, and we are on our way to a campground outside of Saguaro National Park. We will unleash our Expedition and then head over to the park for a few hours before resting for the evening.

Tomorrow, John and two of the kids have a full day birding, and I’m going to go around Tucson with Isaac and Hannah to some stores Isaac has had his eyes on for some Hotwheels hunting.
