Pup-Peroni helps us celebrate international bacon day

We humans have a saying in our house: "Can anything taste bad if it includes bacon?"

I think dogs definitely agree.

International Bacon Day is in the month of September, and the Pup-Peroni company wanted to see us celebrating how much we love our dogs. They sent our family a complimentary bag of snacks and some fun toys and asked us to share our love in a blog post.

This is easy for me. As everyone who reads my Blogs now, we lost our Dalmatian Scrubs in April. Scrubs absolutely LOVED Pup-Peroni. It was his favorite snack. We bought these snacks like they were going out of style. I hadn't given any to the puppies yet, and thought this was the perfect opportunity.

Both our Aussies love bacon, but for the sake of this post, I am including our male seven month old Aussie, Ritter. We gave him the new Pup-Peroni Filet Mignon & Bacon treats, and he was in absolute HEAVEN.

I forgot how exhausting it is to try and get a puppy and a child in the same picture. (Add in trying to show him eating the treat when he mostly just scarfed it, and it was nearly impossible.)

We miss Scrubs SO much. Losing him was one of the hardest things we've ever had to do. These new pups are bringing us an incredible amount of joy. We had a ton of fun doing this post. Bacon is always something Scrubs loved ... and we are loving sharing it with a new generation of dogs.

And they had a TON of fun eating their bacon!
