Instructions for properly hugging a baby

I got this from my co-worker Marilyn who thought of me as we train Scrubs and wait for our first addition who is arriving three years earlier than we originally planned!!! Not a Dalmatian, but you get the idea.
1. First, spy a baby.
2. Second, be sure that the object you spied was indeed a baby by employing classic sniffing techniques. If you smell baby powder and the wonderful aroma of wet diapers this is indeed a baby.

3. Next you will need to flatten the baby before actually beginning the hugging process.

**Note: The added slobber should help in future steps by making the 'paw Slide' easier.

4. The 'paw slide'Simply slide paws around baby and prepare for possible close-up.

Finally, if a camera is present, you will need to execute the difficult and patented 'hug, smile, and lean' so as to achieve the best photo quality.

Dogs, if this is properly done, it will secure you a warm, dry, climate-controlled environment for the rest of your life!

THIS is one of my favorite photo montages. I featured it on my blog last year sometime. Can't help but smile when you see it!

Our boxer, Bo, has been GREAT with little Monkey. He doesn't do much but grab his fur and chew on him, but Bo just stands there and takes it with a lot of patience. I can't wait to see him walking and running so they can interact a little more. I have a feeling Scrubs will be great with May baby - what a fun interaction to witness at that point!
