Boxes, worms, church, and new house

In some compeltely unrelated news:

  • Our mail came! It was Christmas in the Kit. house. Toys galore. Shower curtain liners. Bed sheets. Trains. Toiletries. I think we mailed about 15 boxes to ourselves and all but one made it. Hip hip hurrah! The post office people were happy to see us show up so we could unload half their warehouse.

  • Scrubs has some sort of worm! I won't go into detail about how I discovered it or the sample JB took when I told him to take the Base vet. John isn't worried about it, but I am sure we'll have to get him on something to help with this soon.

  • We attended church last night. It was a VBS program and a dinner so it wasn't in the "usual" style, but it was wonderful to fellowship with other Christians just the same. The "Chapel" hosts numerous church congregations including: traditional, gospel, contemporary, Catholic, and Church of Christ. There are a few small churches off-Base but most people attend one of these services on Base. We can walk to the service. The service we will most likely attend is at 6pm on Sunday evenings.

  • We are slowly moving our stuff from TLF to our new house and plan to move in tomorrow morning. Our rental furniture will also arrive tomorrow morning. We are excited to be put, in the one place that we will be for at least the next two years. How wonderful that we can get settled so quickly.
