A Tough "Good Bye"

Our friend Anni has purchased a farm right around the corner from us. Because she is a teacher, she was able to spend a lot of the summer here with her foster daughter. However, now that school is about to start, she'll have to go back down to Knoxville. And because we are trying to tightly quarantine, we aren't sure how much we will be able to see her.

Well, we may be able to see them but not really be with them.

Social distancing is a pain in the butt. It's not natural. It doesn't work with kids. I don't like it whatsoever.

But I know this is a season in all of our lives. Anni will be transitioning to being in our area someday soon full-time. But for now, we will take them when we can get them and enjoy what we have.

Today is our last day "together." Here are some pics I snapped:

We are going to have a little birthday party for Anni's foster daughter today before they leave. Here is Hannah working on her present for one of our favorite toddlers.

Here is a video I took a few days ago! Farm life! What a childhood!
