Parents and grandparents you are not going to want to miss this giveaway.
I recently had the opportunity to review the DVD THEO: Teaching Children God's Word from FishFlix.com.
We sat down to watch the three episodes included on this DVD together as a family: my husband, myself, and our four children.
And we were blown away.
Without a doubt, this is the highest quality children's Bible video we have ever watched. Both my husband and I agreed. (And he is not one to just say something unless he really means it.)
This DVD contains three short lessons.
- Lesson One: Saving Faith (9 minutes)
- Lesson Two: Loving Obedience (9 minutes)
- Lesson Three: Forgiveness (10 minutes)
Each lesson includes a delightful exchange between Theo and his two mice friends who are constantly getting into predicaments regarding their character and decisions. Following that, Theo opens up a special box where you are presented with "Shadowbox Bible Theatre" lesson which bounces into the Bible for a story that parallels with what the mice are learning. The animation is incredible and the shadowbox is delightful. Theo's voice is British-ly soothing, and it was simply one of the most peaceful and precious children's Biblical videos we'd ever seen. A real joy to watch and each one focusing on a spiritual topic that both entertains and teachers children about key aspects in the Christian faith.
In addition, the DVD contains additional materials that you can use as a family including scripture references, discussion questions, a family activity, and nightly devotionals so that you as a family can participate in family Bible studies.

What would you say would be a recommended age for this DVD?
Great question. My 2 year old didn't follow much so I would say 3/4-adult. My 7 year olds loved it. 3-9?
Perfect! In that case I would like to be "in the running" for winning this DVD. I went on fishflix and looked at it some more, and it looks awesome.
