Last week, our little next-door-neighbor, Dylan, knocked on our door to see if his friends Elijah or Isaac could come out to play. Woah. Are our boys old enough for that? Moms not arranging playtime. Really?
Yesterday, Abigail took her first step. She's not walking yet. But getting much closer. She's standing unassisted for long periods of time and scaling like crazy.
She clapped today. It's clumsy but beautiful.
The boys have nearly completely mastered dressing themselves. Shorts are still backwards sometimes. Socks are still difficult. But they can do it themselves. Mostly.
Abigail eats completely on her own. She wants no help.
The boys are starting to open the refrigerator and pick out their food by themselves. Bring me the milk for a glass of it. Throw their own trash away.
Growing up is happening. Right before my eyes.
