8 and 5
How can the dryer-fix-it-guy give you a time frame of "between 8 and 5." I mean how many people do you know who are able to hang out around their house all day, on a Wednesday (the only day he comes to our area) to wait for a dryer-fix-it-guy? Surely he could narrow it down a little bit? When I watch the Maytag commericals, the Maytag Repairman is bored out of his mind and can come whenever you want and stay as long as you need him. Why can this Maytag guy only come "sometime on Wednesday between 8 and 5." Hogwash!

Seriously! This could never work for us in real life. Can you imagine telling a boss or a friend, "Yeah, I'll be there between 8 and 5."? Like a lead balloon, I tell you! That would never go over. :)
