In other news, I have a question for those of you who are my Mayo compardres. Why is it that I take the Guggenheim elevator to the 1st floor to cross over into Baldwin, but when I get to Baldwin, I am actually on the subway level and have to go up one floor to be on the 1st floor? I had to do this today to go to the pharmacy. I knew what I was doing so I didn't get lost, but this is completely idiotic to me. No wonder patients wander to the sixth floor of the Guggenheim wondering where Gonda is!

Another issue: SL means "street" level in some buildings and "subway" level in other buildings. Again, this is dumb. Doesn't anyone realize the confusion they are causing?

Thanks for listening. If you can help me understand the madness, please help. And please vote for Heisman.

Yes, the inconsistencies in Mayo's floor number choices is really bad. I don't know how many people I've help find buildings.... in Guggenheim they think they're in Mayo, Gonda, or Baldwin. It's even more confusing when they encounter locked doors that you need a card to access and they think their appointment in on the other side of that door!

On another note, ... Excedrin is my painkiller of choice! Very rarely have I had a headache it couldn't take care of.... this makes me sound like a crazy pill-popper - I swear I'm not! :)

I know what you mean by all of the floor confusion. I work on Plummer 2 but that is the same floor as Siebens 1 and they are connected to each other?!?

And then there are some elevators (i think the St. Mary's parking ramp elevators) that have G and M on them too - for ground and main. Even more confusing
