Dessert


This is the type of cooking my husband does. I think you have to call him a chef not a cook.

"For dessert tonight, we're having poached quince with a chardonnay and raisen reduction sauce and a cranberry and brandy reduction sauce over homemade vanilla bean ice cream."

Yes, I'm lucky. I do NO cooking in our house unless it involves a microwave or meal-in-a-box. Praise the Lord for JB and his love of cooking!

Did his Grandma K. cook fancy stuff for the Kits growing up, or is this something he just picked up on his own? Most impressive!

No she didn't. She did do a lot of cooking and is a baker but JB never really cooked with her. He got into cooking on his own after we were married.
