We have a rule in our house. Scrubs is not allowed to put his paws up on the couch. Last night he said hi to Joni when she came in the house. But I think it was early this morning that reality hit. She's really here! It's her! It's her! The paws on the couch rule went out the window as he found his big ol' self up on her lap as soon as he woke up this morning. Scrubs and Joni go way back as you can tell.

My brother-in-law was very close to my dalmatian... we moved away, and after not seeing each other for over a year, the dog was thrilled to see him again. he wouldn't leave my brother-in-law... so he slept with him that first night. my brother-in-law said that he didn't get any sleep... every little bit, the dog would wake up, thump his tail and start licking him! those dogs love their people... =)
