Skate Park

On a Base this small, the options of things to do are limited.  So I have discovered that during the day, the skatepark is empty of skateboarders. And it is, instead, a perfect place for the boys to play on their little three-wheelers. Here is a video of them doing just that. 

The boys got new bike helmets from Papa and Grama Di for Christmas. We gave it to them early as the rule on base is: helmets if on wheels. Since we are now pedaling and leaving the driveway, I thought it was time to break out the helmets.

Especially when riding bikes on ramps! 

Here's a video of them opening their helmets. Elijah had to get a 5 and older helmet (for his big noggin). That meant he couldn't get the cool Cars helmet. But you notice that it doesn't faze Elijah in the least. He is usually very go-with-the-flow about things like this. (And even if you don't want to watch the whole video, look at around 4:15 when Isaac puts a bag on Abigail's head -- real funny stuff.)
