Well folks, I'm signing out for awhile. In a couple of hours we'll put the boys to bed and then head to Joan's where we'll spend the night in preparation for our early morning flight tomorrow to Cozumel. I am not sure if I will have Internet access while I am gone, and even if I do, I'll probably try to stay off the computer and keep my nose in a book for the most part, but you may hear from me now and then.
JB and I realized that tonight will be the first night that both of us will spend away from the boys since Isaac arrived nearly a year and a half ago. He's spent nights away, and I've spent nights away, but we've never spent a single night away together. Wow. We planned to take time away a lot sooner than this, but with two babies in eight and a half months, we just got kinda busy.
I realized today that our little Elijah is now older than Isaac was when Elijah was born. (That sounds confusing, but I can't think of a better way to write it.) Time sure flies. I thought I would have a hard time leaving the boys, but I really feel great about our trip. We both really need some time away, and everything is perfectly set for the boys to have a fantastic week during our time away.
