Here is a link to Day 1 of Sidge's birthday party. Day 2 we woke up in the hotel room, ate breakfast, went swimming, and then checked out of our hotel and drove over to BRISTOL CAVERNS to tour their cave. Boy was this fun! here are a few pictures we took inside:
Bristol Caverns is actually privately owned. (We met the owner who was taking our money for tickets.) He was incredibly kind and simply loved the cave and worked there as a young man. It is an incredibly impressive structure (and this coming from people who have toured caves in Kentucky (Mammoth) and in Turkey.) While the prices are not cheap (approximately $15 a person I believe), there is a military discount and children under 4 are free. (Which I am, obviously, a huge fan of.) I really think if you are in the area, you need to take the opportunity to take this tour. We went in January/February and so it was not crowded at all. We had our own personal tour guide.
