A few weeks ago, Joni and I decided that waiting to see her until February was not going to cut it. So she decided to make an impromptu visit here to Tennessee. I decided not to tell the kiddos. Instead, I circled a date on the calendar and told them that there was a special delivery coming that day. Then, yesterday, we drove to the airport to pick up our special delivery! Isaac "got it" right away, but Sidge and Abigail took a few minutes to process that a person was the surprise. Once they realized, wild hugs ensued!
We get Joni to ourselves for FOUR whole days! And we decided to make Gingerbread Cookies and watch Frosty the Snowman last night to celebrate.
OH HOW I LOVE LIVING CLOSE TO FAMILY!!!!!
