That's seven moves. And my biggest tip of ALL?
PUT STUFF AWAY.
It doesn't matter where it goes. Just put it away. It does not have to be in the forever spot. Just get it put away, and later, once you have lived in the house and gotten used to the house, you can easily move it from place to place.
This is especially true during this move. This is the only move that I've had other grown-ups around to help with the unpacking. Grama is an amazing helper. I honestly let her do whatever she wants. She can put stuff anywhere (within reason, obviously.) This allows the person to actually help and it allows things to get done.
Later, I can easily decide on something different or better.
P.S. have a K.I.S.S idea? Please email them to me at wendi@wendikitsteiner.com!
