My Day Off

Today, for Valentine's Day, my husband has given me the entire day off.

Okay, so I did get up with the baby at 5am, but he promised me that if I could do that, I could take as many naps today as I wanted.

I walked into the kitchen this morning where JB was feeding the kids breakfast. I asked Sidge what he would like to drink.

"No," John said. "I got this." Then he turned to the kids. "Today is Mommy's day off. She is not going to be a Mommy today."

"Daddy," Sidge began. "You're joking. Are you just kidding?"

John explained that I was still their Mommy but that they couldn't ask me to do anything for them today.

Wowzers! This should be one interesting day!
