We Bought a Farm: More Veggies!

A couple veggies from our garden that I used in tonight’s dinner.

Doux D’Espagne (French for “Sweet from Spain”)
Also know as the Spanish Mammoth Pepper
They are huge and have a great, sweet pepper flavor.
These have been growing great with no disease or pest damage, and we don’t use any sprays or man made chemicals in our garden. Highly recommend this variety.

Country Gentleman Sweet Corn
Who needs organized rows on your corn?!
This is called a shoepeg type of corn.
It has a good corn flavor and is quite sweet when ripe.
We actually have very little experience growing sweet corn, but this one has still produced pretty well for us.
