Dish Towels

I find it amusing that so many friends in my life have seen fit to BUY ME dish towels. Anni dropped these off to me on our socially-distant visit this week. I laughed because over and over again, friends give me dish towels. 

Here's why:

Wendi is Dutch.

The Dutch are known for being cheap.

I am cheap. 

So my dish towels are never replaced.

I keep using really cruddy ones over and over again.

Until people laugh at what my towels look like.

And put it upon themselves to buy me new towels. 

I love it.
